Integrasi Perencanaan Proses Produksi dan Perencanaan Persediaan Bahan Baku Terhadap Keberhasilan Proses Produksi dengan Moderasi Pengendalian Internal

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of production process planning and raw material inventory planning on the success of the production process, with internal control serving as a moderating variable. Effective production planning and inventory management are considered crucial in achieving smooth and efficient production operations, particularly in manufacturing industries. The research was conducted at PT. Remco Rubber Indonesia, located in Kertapati District, Palembang City. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in a total of 51 respondents who are employees directly involved in production activities. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. The findings indicate that both production process planning and raw material inventory planning have a significant and positive impact on the success of the production process. These results highlight the importance of structured planning and resource availability in ensuring production targets are met efficiently. However, the study also reveals that internal control, as a moderating variable, does not significantly influence or strengthen the relationship between production planning variables and production success. This suggests that the direct influence of planning practices outweighs the moderating role of internal control mechanisms in this context.
